TomTom (tom Tom Boy)
17hh Flea-bitten Grey Gelding "I am owned by Patricia who works in the office and I am on working livery at Kingsmead. I am really good and help new riders get started. I am patient and really responsive."
Miles (The Milestone Man)
16hh Dun Gelding Irish Draught "I am told I am very handsome! I am not a novice ride as I can worry a bit however once you know me you will realise I am really kind and want to do my best. I can get a bit stiff in cold weather so have a full wardrobe of rugs for winter!"
Edward (Leanonleo) 2005
15.3hh Bay Thoroughbred "I used to be a racehorse, so I am an equine athlete. I only raced a few times and never won a race, some would say I wasnt a very good racehorse, they are wrong I was just very careful and looked after myself and my jockey. I can be a little opinionated if I think we are going too far or too fast but otherwise love hacking. School work is a little more like hard work, and you may have guessed I am not a fan of hard work!"
Morigan (Allihes Cella) 2008
15.3hh Irish Sports Horse "My name is from Celtic mythology, a Goddess representing the Circle of Life. I like that! I was bought by Friends of Kingsmead for our RDA riders who want to learn to do dressage and jump. I am a school mistress which means I teach my riders well. I have developed a problem with my eyes however I rely heavily on my other senses and I can see well enough to do everything from hacking to jumping."
16hh Bay Mare Irish Sports Horse Co Owned "I think I am the most important horse on the yard (but not everyone agrees) however I am definitely the prettiest. I am very talented when I want to be and will jump for fun. I can be a little grumpy in my stable, you can ask a member of staff how it is best to approach me!"
Turbo (Lightning Jack) 2008
15.2hh Blagdon Bay Gelding Irish Cob "I have been told they need ten of me here! I am a very good boy and love helping people learn to ride. Barney (Tiloak Barney)
Grey Gelding 2011 "People say I am very kind and gentle in my stable although I can be a bit more challenging when ridden, just ask about me and corners in the school! When I was born I was a chestnut colour and even more unusual I have a twin brother (it is a shame he is not here at Kingsmead!)"
15.2hh Dun Gelding Falco is very well schooled and a lovely character
15.2hh Black Mare - Irish Cob "As my names suggest I am a gentle quiet horse although I do have an opinion about how I should be ridden! Riders have to work out how to get the best from me ( I dont really like being told what to do. I am ridden in a bitless bridle and treeless saddle which gives riders a very different feel. I am Fiona's favourite hack lead."

15.1hh piebald gelding "I like being in the riding school where I teach riders of all standards. 15hh Piebald Gelding - Irish Cob "I came from Ireland and somewhere along the line I became very suspicious of people. The family have given me time to feel safe and I have rewarded their patience by turning into a lovely riding school cob. I am so keen to learn and always try my best."

I was horse of the year in 2019
Henry (Midnight Cassonova) 2005

14hh Grey Gelding Connemara "I enjoy my work and am a really good riding school pony. I can do lessons, hack and I love to jump. I am told I need to stand up for myself in the field as I do get bitten by the other horses but that just shows I am a nice person!"
Piebald Gelding 2011 I am a very good boy (or so I am told by the boss); I do what is asked of me without complaining and always work hard. 14 hh bay gelding "I am on loan from Free Rein Rescue, I had a difficult start in life although feel happy here at Kingsmead. I LOVE hacking and am looking forward to doing more. We leave in a small herd, we were all a bit shy or unsettled in other herds but have formed great friendships."
14 hh Grey Gelding "Look at me, you must admit I look cute! Before I came to Kingsmead I was very frightened of people and it took me 5 hours to be caught; then it was three weeks before I would let Fiona touch my head. She was very patient with me and taught me I could trust people. Now I just want to play and have cuddles. I have been given time and I am just about ready to work in the school".
Bay Gelding 2008 "I love living out in the fields with my best friend Badger. We play fight a lot of the time and I really enjoy it! I am getting better when I am ridden and will really look after you out hacking. My favourite thing is cross country when I can be bold and clever!"
