How you can help

Supporting riding for those with disabilities at Kingsmead...

The accessibility mark facilities and the horses are funded by Kingsmead Equestrian Centre.  All RDA riding is provided at cost and on a not for profit basis.

We have been lucky to receive some grant funding from Tandridge Council and Sports England, which has enabled us to buy some much needed equipment.  We are also most grateful to a Charitable Trust who fully funded the building of our Disability Zone (an indoor lodge with direct access to a pony enclosure).  With your support we could do so much more!

All money raised (in the name of our RDA Accessibility Mark Centre) is ring fenced and ploughed back into improving our offering to our disabled riders. We have the skills and the passion to make a difference.  Our biggest barrier to reaching more people and changing more lives is the lack of funds.

We have taken advice on how best to meet the needs of our disabled clients and we are delighted to announce that in 2022 we are starting a new Community Interest Company "In The Company of Horses"; our work will be dedicated to Outreach and Education for anyone who would benefit physically, socially or emotionally from working with our horses.

We are currently looking for funding, sponsorship and volunteers to support this new venture!  If you can help please contact Fiona.
